Over the decades, the culture has emerged as a local phenomenon in New York to become one of the most powerful pop culture forces in recent history. 84 Game Changer, but from reviews I'd place that on the list above as well.Born in the gritty South Bronx during the 1970s, hip hop culture emerged as a voice for the marginalized, with park jams and block parties serving as the stage for its rapid growth. Push come to shove, I'd take the 68 OC, although when new/shiny the 38 Bronze looks really nice, and saves half the price of a SS model, assuming you match the scalloped cap.

Others that I find super easy on the face, yet capable of clearing off anything from an evening touch-up or full on 2 days growth (I rarely go over 2 days), is a Rockwell (Plate #6), Gillette Adjustable on #9, Schone (Fatip's sister), or MingShi (Futur clone) with a relatively sharp blade. I take mine for a spin now and then, when I have maybe 30 minutes to kill, allowing for the extra work/passes/buffing.Īs my beard has grayed, I'm not shaving with a Timeless 95 OC, or New Short-Comb more often than not, as they clear the growth much easier. If you don't mind the extra passes to obtain BBS, and I'll chase BBS, I admit it, it can take and many passes to achieve it.

There's the kicker, even with a larger/heavier handle, the Tech takes some work if you want BBS and have decent growth being that mild. Don't get me wrong, the Tech is a good performing under-rated razor, but still very mild. One of the Timeless, with my reasoning being MANY have compared the Feather to a Gillette Tech, as lets face it, Feather basically made a slightly improved Tech in stainless when designing it. If I didn't have either one (and I was being logical) I may still buy the SS first because of the versatility and the excellent performance, but I would still need to add the Bronze at some point because it has that intangible "cool factor" that makes it the one I always tend to reach for. You cannot go wrong with eat razors and a great company with excellent customer service. The weight of the Bronze is enjoyable for me and best of all, the razor is just jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I can do 3 full passes with no irritation and if I use a sharp blade (Gillette Nacet) I always get DFS+ or BBS depending on how "particular" I want to be. I have tougher whiskers and somewhat sensitive skin. It always gives me a fantastic close shave but is very mild on the face. However, the Timeless Bronze 38 SB is one of my favorite razors (and I have a lot of them). The SS will probably be a slight bit more resistant to damage if you are very hard on your stuff. I have OC and SB plates as well as different handle designs if you are into that sort of thing (I am). It would be a very tough choice if I had to choose just one. I have both the Timeless SS 68 OC and the Bronze 38 SB.
